AISI 1010 carbon steel/S10C is a kind of steel material with good plasticity and toughness, easy to be formed by cold and hot working, good machinability after normalizing or hard working, good weldability, no temper brittleness, and poor hardenability and hardenability.

It is used to manufacture parts with low stress and high toughness, such as automobile bodies, containers, deep stamping vessels, tubes, gaskets, etc. It can be used for cold rolling, cold punching, cold heading, cold bending, hot rolling, and other processes, as well as carburizing parts with low central strength, carbonitriding parts, etc

This standard specifies the size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks, and quality certificates of high-quality carbon structural steel hot-rolled steel sheets and strips.
