Product Overview

Carbon steel strip coil is a flat-rolled product supplied in coil form with width typically below 600 mm. It bridges the gap between sheet and wire: thin enough for press work, narrow enough for slitting into precise blanks, and strong enough for structural bracing. We supply both hot-rolled strip (HRC strip) for general structural and cold-rolled strip (CRC strip) for tight-tolerance forming and surface-critical parts.

Manufacturing Standards

Our carbon steel strip coil is produced and tested to recognized standards. Common references include GB/T 716 for cold-rolled low-carbon steel strip, GB/T 3524 for hot-rolled carbon steel strip, JIS G 3141 for cold-reduced carbon steel sheet and strip, ASTM A109 for cold-rolled carbon steel strip, and EN 10139 for cold-rolled uncoated mild steel products. We can align the certificate to the standard named in your contract.

Quality Assurance

Each coil is sourced from ISO 9001-certified mills and supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate showing heat number, chemical composition, mechanical properties, and dimensional results. Optional services include third-party inspection, hardness testing, surface roughness measurement, and coating weight checks.

Packing and Shipping

Strip coils are wrapped with anti-rust paper and polyethylene film, edge protectors installed, and secured with steel strapping. Coils are loaded eye-to-the-sky or eye-to-the-side depending on vessel constraints. We mark each coil with grade, heat number, dimensions, and coil weight, and provide loading photos and packing lists before departure.
