Product Overview
Carbon steel T-bar (also called T-section, T-profile, or tee bar) is a hot-rolled structural steel shape with a cross-section resembling the letter “T”. The vertical stem is called the web, and the horizontal top is called the flange. T-bars are used as structural bracing, purlin supports, machinery frames, stair stringers, and architectural supports where an equal-leg angle or channel does not provide the right load path. Huaxia-Steel supplies carbon steel T-bar from 30×30×4 mm to 100×100×10 mm and larger, in Q235B, SS400, S235JR, S275JR, and A36 equivalent grades.

Manufacturing Standards
- Hot rolling: blooms are heated and rolled through a series of passes to form the T-profile; finish-rolled to length and straightened.
- Slitting and splitting: larger T-sections can be produced by splitting I-beams or H-beams lengthwise, then edge-dressing.
- Tolerance: GB/T 706 for Chinese sections, EN 10055 for European T-bars, ASTM A6 for imperial sizes.
- Surface: black mill scale; shot blasting, priming, or galvanizing available on request.
