Product Overview
Carbon steel welded pipe is produced by forming flat steel plate or coil into a cylindrical shape and welding the seam. ERW pipe uses high-frequency electric resistance welding for smaller diameters and thinner walls. LSAW and SSAW pipes use submerged arc welding for larger diameters and heavier walls used in energy transmission and piling.

Manufacturing Standards
Our welded pipe mills operate under ISO 9001 quality management with inline ultrasonic testing of welds, hydrostatic testing, and dimensional inspection. ERW mills use solid-state high-frequency welders. LSAW and SSAW lines are equipped with automatic submerged arc welding and X-ray or ultrasonic inspection stations. Each pipe is traceable to raw material heat number and production batch.

Quality Assurance
Each production lot is tested for chemical composition, tensile properties, flattening, bend, weld tensile, and hydrostatic pressure. NDT includes ultrasonic or radiographic weld inspection when specified. Mill test certificates conform to EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV, TUV, or LR is available.
Packing and Shipping
Small-diameter pipes are bundled with steel straps and protected with plastic caps. Large-diameter pipes are loaded loose or on cradles. External coating is protected with wrapping. For ocean shipment, pipes are loaded in bulk vessels or containers depending on diameter and quantity. Marking includes grade, standard, heat number, size, and bundle number.
