Product Overview

Our S355JR plates are produced under a normalized rolling practice in thicknesses up to 50 mm, and quenched-and-tempered for thicker sections when impact requirements exceed the JR class. They are commonly dual-certified to ASTM A572 Grade 50 for North American projects.

Each plate is delivered with a mill test certificate showing heat number, chemical composition, tensile properties, and 27 J Charpy V-notch impact at +20 degrees C. Optional ultrasonic testing (EN 10160) and Z-direction testing (EN 10164) are available. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV, or TÜV can be arranged at the mill or port.

Packing and Shipping

Plates are stacked and strapped with steel bands, marked with grade, heat number, dimensions, and weight, then protected with anti-rust oil or VCI film. We pack for container, flat-rack, or break-bulk shipment depending on the size and destination.
