Carbon steel tee is a butt-weld pipe fitting with three openings in a T-shape – one run and a 90 degree branch. It is the most common way to add a branch line or split flow in carbon steel process piping, plumbing, fire protection, and oil & gas gathering systems.

Product Overview
Our equal tee is formed by hot extrusion or hot forging of a solid round billet. The branch opening is then machined and bevelled to accept a butt-weld joint. For seamless tees, the run and branch are both seamless; for welded tees, the branch can be welded onto a seamless or ERW run pipe. Each tee is dimensionally inspected and pressure-tested before shipment.
