Product Overview
Carbon steel rebar, also known as reinforcing bar or deformed bar, is a steel bar with surface ribs or lugs that improve mechanical anchoring in concrete. It is produced by hot rolling billets through specially designed rolls that create the deformation pattern. The ribs increase the bond between steel and concrete, allowing the composite material to resist tensile and shear forces effectively.

Manufacturing Standards
Our rebar mills operate under ISO 9001 quality systems with controlled rolling to achieve specified mechanical properties. Billets are sourced from ISO-certified steelmakers. Rolling parameters including temperature, pass schedule, and cooling rate are monitored to ensure uniform rib geometry, dimensional accuracy, and tensile properties. Each heat is traceable through bar markings and mill certificates.

Quality Assurance
Each production heat is tested for chemical composition, tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, bend performance, and rib dimension. Mechanical testing is performed on representative samples from each cast. Mill test certificates conform to EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV, or TUV is available for project-critical orders.
Packing and Shipping
Rebar is bundled with steel wire or strapping, typically 2-4 tons per bundle. Each bundle is tagged with grade, diameter, heat number, and length. For export, bundles are loaded in containers or bulk vessels with proper spacers to prevent tangling and surface damage. Cut-and-bent rebar can be supplied in labeled cages or pallets.
