Product Overview
Carbon steel grating (steel bar grating) is a grid of load-bearing bearing bars and transverse cross bars welded or pressed together. It provides a strong, slip-resistant, ventilated walking and drainage surface while using far less material than solid plate. Huaxia-Steel supplies carbon steel welded bar grating and press-locked grating in plain or serrated (tooth) style, with hot-dip galvanized finish, in bearing bar sizes 20×3 – 60×8 mm and pitches per ISO 14122 / ANSI/NAAMM MBG 531 — cut, framed, and fabricated to drawing.

Manufacturing Standards
- Welded bar grating: cross bars resistance-welded to bearing bars at each intersection; robust and economical.
- Press-locked grating: bars interlocking under pressure; smooth, clean appearance for architectural use.
- Galvanizing: hot-dip galvanized per ASTM A123 / EN ISO 1461 for corrosion protection.
- Fabrication: cut, framed with flat bar, and fitted with clips, toe plates, and checkered nosing as required.
