Carbon Steel Sheet Pile Carbon Steel — Factory Direct Supplier | Huaxia-Steel
Carbon steel sheet piles are interlocking steel sections driven into the ground to form continuous retaining walls for excavations, cofferdams, quay walls, and flood protection. Huaxia-Steel supplies hot-rolled and cold-formed sheet piles in Z-type, U-type, and straight-web profiles from EN 10248, JIS A5523/A5528, and ASTM A572/A328 bases, with S355GP/S355 grades, corrosion-protection coating options, and cut-to-length service for marine and foundation contractors worldwide.
Product Overview
Hot-rolled sheet piles are formed from beam blanks with integral interlocks — Larssen-type U profiles and Z profiles — that lock wall-to-wall with high clutch strength and low leakage. Compared with cold-formed piles, hot-rolled sections offer thicker interlocks, better driving durability in dense soils, and proven performance in hard ground. Wall systems are built by driving piles one by one (panel driving for alignment-critical walls), then anchoring, bracing, or cantilevering per the geotechnical design. Steel sheet piles are also extractable and reusable across multiple projects, improving whole-life cost versus concrete walls.

Quality Assurance
Profile dimensions, interlock tolerances, and mechanical properties are verified per EN 10248-2 sampling rules, with test certificates per EN 10204 3.1 issued per heat. Interlock tension testing (per EN 10248 Annex) confirms clutch strength for walls designed on interlock force. Straightness and twist are checked before banded dispatch — critical for panel driving alignment. Coated piles receive coating thickness measurement (DFT gauge) and holiday testing for marine systems. Third-party inspection and witnessed loading are welcome for port and infrastructure projects.
Packing and Shipping
Sheet piles are banded in bundles of 5–20 piles with timber or steel separators protecting interlocks, stenciled with section mark and length on each pile. Lengths up to 18 m ship in flat racks or break-bulk with dunnage plans provided; interlocks are greased for long voyages to prevent seizing before driving. Every shipment includes packing list, mill certificates, and handling/driving guidance notes.
