Carbon steel wire mesh is a woven or welded grid used for screening, filtering, fencing, reinforcement, and safety guarding across mining, construction, agriculture, and industrial processing. Huaxia-Steel produces woven wire mesh from 1 mesh to 400 mesh and welded wire mesh in panel and roll forms, using low-carbon, high-carbon, and spring-steel wires with plain, galvanized, and PVC-coated finishes.

Product Overview

Woven wire mesh is produced on looms by interlacing warp and weft wires in square, rectangular, or dutch weave patterns. Welded wire mesh is made by resistance-welding cross wires at each intersection, creating a rigid panel that holds its shape under load. We supply both types in rolls (typical width 1.0–2.0 m, length 30 m) or cut-to-size panels, with edge finishing options including raw cut, folded edge, and hooked edge for tensioning screens.

Manufacturing Standards and Quality Control

Woven mesh is inspected for mesh count uniformity, wire diameter consistency, and opening size deviation per ISO 9044. Tensile tests are performed on wire samples from each coil. Welded mesh panels are checked for weld shear strength (minimum 30% of wire tensile), panel flatness, and dimensional tolerance ±2 mm on panel edges. Coating weight is verified by gravimetric or X-ray measurement for galvanized products. For architectural or safety applications, we provide load-deflection test reports and impact resistance certificates on request.

Packaging and Shipping

Woven mesh rolls are wrapped in moisture-proof paper and plastic film, then packed in wooden crates or steel frames for sea freight. Welded panels are bundled with steel straps and edge-protected with foam or cardboard. Each bundle is labeled with mesh size, wire diameter, material, finish, and batch number. For large orders, we offer palletized loading with loading photos and weight list. VCI film and desiccant are included for galvanized products to prevent white rust during transit.
