Packaging and Shipping
Standard steel channel export packing:
- Channels bundled in lifts of 2-5 metric tons with 3-5 steel strapping bands per bundle
- Individual pieces tagged with heat number, grade, and length
- Wooden dunnage between bundles to prevent surface damage and allow forklift access
- Loading into 40ft flat rack containers or break-bulk vessels for lengths exceeding 12 meters
- Standard 20ft container load: 22-26 tons (6m lengths), 40ft container: 25-28 tons (12m lengths)
- Optional VCI paper wrapping for marine environment protection during long voyages
- Leading loading ports: Tianjin, Shanghai, Qingdao, Ningbo, Guangzhou
