Manufacturing Standards

Plates are manufactured and tested to ASTM A36, ASTM A283, ASTM A285, ASTM A516, ASTM A572, EN 10025, DIN 17100, JIS G3101 and GB/T standards. Normalizing, quenching and tempering, and cutting services are available. Third-party inspection can be arranged.

Quality Assurance

Each plate is traceable to the heat number and supported by a mill test certificate showing chemical composition, tensile properties, impact values and ultrasonic test results where required. Dimensional checks, surface inspection and hardness tests are performed before shipment.

Packing and Shipping

Plates are stacked on wooden or steel skids, separated by battens, wrapped with waterproof paper and steel bands. Heavy plates are loaded directly into containers or on flat racks for break-bulk shipment. Marking includes size, grade, standard, heat number and weight.
