Product Overview
SSAW pipe is formed by rolling a steel strip into a spiral shape and welding both inside and outside seams. This process allows a single coil width to produce a wide range of diameters, making SSAW pipe highly cost-effective for long-distance pipelines and large structural columns. Common outside diameters range from 219 mm to 3,500 mm with wall thicknesses from 6 mm to 25 mm.

Manufacturing Standards

Quality Assurance
Quality control includes ultrasonic testing of the base material, X-ray or ultrasonic inspection of welds, hydrostatic testing, dimensional checks and surface inspection. We can arrange SGS, Bureau Veritas or TÜV inspection on request.
Packing and Shipping
Large-diameter SSAW pipe is usually shipped in bare bundles or loose pieces for bulk vessels. Smaller lots can be loaded in containers with proper chocking and separation. Pipe ends are protected with plastic caps or steel rings to prevent damage during transit.
