Product Overview
Huaxia-Steel supplies carbon steel wire rod — hot-rolled coiled rod from 5.5 to 25 mm diameter — directly from Chinese rolling mills to wire drawers, fastener manufacturers, construction material producers, and trading houses worldwide. Wire rod is the starting point of the entire wire industry: drawn into nails, mesh, cables, precast strand, and thousands of fastener variants, it is one of the highest-volume steel commodities in international trade.
We supply rod in SAE 1008–1018, Q195/Q235, and C45D/C48D chemistries, in coils of 1,800–2,200 kg, with tight chemistry control and EN 10204 3.1 certification.

- Tensile and reduction-of-area testing per coil group; decarburization depth controlled for high-carbon grades
- Surface defect control: no detrimental rolled-in scale, seams, or overfills (eddy current inspection on request)
- EN 10204 3.1 certificates with heat-number traceability to each coil
- Third-party inspection (SGS/BV/TUV) and sample wire-drawing trials supported before shipment
Packaging and Shipping
- Standard: coils strapped with 4–6 steel bands, eye-to-sky in 20ft containers (~25 tonnes); eye-to-side on break-bulk
- Optional: moisture-barrier wrapping, coil-to-coil separation boards for tropical routes
- Heat tags on every coil; consolidated packing list with per-coil weights
- Lead time: 10–20 days from confirmed order for common diameters
- FOB, CFR, CIF, DAP; loading ports: Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai, Zhangjiagang
