Product Overview
Galvanized carbon steel sheet is hot-rolled or cold-rolled carbon steel coated with a layer of zinc by the hot-dip galvanizing process. The zinc coating sacrifices itself to protect the steel from corrosion, giving the sheet decades of maintenance-free life in outdoor and humid environments. Huaxia-Steel supplies galvanized carbon steel sheet and coil from 0.3 – 3.0 mm thick and up to 1,500 mm wide, in SGCC, DX51D, G60/G90 (ASTM A653), and Z100–Z275 coating classes, with regular, minimized spangle, or skin-passed finishes.

Manufacturing Standards
- Hot-dip galvanizing: cleaned sheet passes through a molten zinc bath (~460°C) forming a metallurgically bonded coating.
- Annealing: continuous galvanizing lines anneal the base steel for formability (full-hard or annealed).
- Coating class: chosen by environment; thicker Z coatings for marine and industrial exposure.
- Finish: regular, minimized, or zero spangle; skin-passed for flatness and paint adhesion.
