Product Overview
Carbon steel bright bar is produced by cold drawing hot-rolled bar through a tungsten carbide die, followed by straightening and cutting. The process improves tensile strength by 15-25%, reduces diameter tolerance from +/- 0.50mm to +/- 0.02mm, and produces a bright, smooth surface (Ra 0.8-3.2 micrometers) suitable for direct use or minimal machining.

Manufacturing Standards
Our bright bar production follows ISO 9001 quality management with in-process dimensional checks every 500kg. Cold drawing is performed on hydraulic draw benches with automatic feeding and inline straightening. For precision ground bars, centerless grinding achieves h6 tolerance and 0.2mm/m straightness.
All bars are supplied with mill test certificates per EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2, including chemical composition, mechanical properties, hardness, and dimensional verification. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV, or TUV is available upon request.

Packing and Shipping
Bright bars are bundled with steel strapping (500-2000kg per bundle) and protected with VCI paper or polyethylene wrapping to prevent rust during transit. Precision ground bars are individually sleeved in cardboard tubes for surface protection. For export, bundles are loaded in containers with proper dunnage and bracing to prevent movement.
