Product Overview
Carbon steel tee is a forged or fabricated pipe fitting with a T-shaped outlet that connects three sections of pipe. Equal tees have the same outlet size as the run; reducing tees connect a smaller branch. Tees are specified by ASME B16.9 for wrought butt-welding fittings and are produced from A234 WPB, A105, P265GH, and equivalent grades. Huaxia-Steel supplies seamless and welded carbon steel tees from 1/2″ × 1/2″ to 48″ × 24″, Sch 10 – Sch 160, with beveled ends and full certification.

Manufacturing Standards
- Hot pressing: seamless pipe section heated and pressed into a tee shape, then machined and beveled.
- Welded tees: formed from plate and pipe segments for large sizes; seam NDE per specification.
- Heat treatment: normalized per A234 WPB; records stated on the MTC.
- Dimensional tolerance: wall thickness, center-to-end dimensions, and outlet diameter per ASME B16.9.
